Ode to Wind Power
Here’s what I love about Wind Power:
The fuel (Wind) is prepaid (Free) for life
No rail cars, trains, semi trucks, bulldozers, excavators, miners, mines, refineries, etc. for supplies year round.
No Pollution, period.
Can be placed in the middle of a cornfield, or a pasture, in the ocean and does not disturb anything around it. (I have pictures of cows resting below Mitsubishi turbines and Hawks flying around GE 1.5 units.)
Silent. I’ve stood underneath GE 1.5MW, Seimens 2.3MW and Mitsubishi 1.0 MW units.
And they don’t chop birds out of the sky like people think. In Texas with an average 8m/s wind I counted 15 RPM all the time.
