It’s been a year
Today is the reniassance fair. That means its been a full year since I visited Julie in her dorm to get my keys and buckid, unless they held the fair at a different date this year. It was a really hot day then, and Julie and I didn’t even know it was going on because we were just walking around campus. We were just walking through when we saw Jared playing with some devil sticks in one of the grassy areas. Soon we found Matt and Misa as well, I think there might have been some other people but I forget. Julie and I went into the Union to buy a smoothie from the hot dawgs place or whatever and we saw Chika sitting with some people and we went over to talk. That was when I met the foreign exchange student from Hokkaido last year and she told me it was a awesome place and that she could tell that I was going to have a fun time and a blast there already, and she told me to contact her to get a map of all the cool places there and information, which I thought was a good idea but ended up not doing.
Anyways today went alot different from that day last year. Last night Jared, Ayaka, Jackie, Julie and I went to Nate’s to watch Pirates of the Carribbean 2. I just sipped on some 110 mixed with cranberry juice and I got surprisingly pretty drunk off just that. Julie was really hungry so we made kimchi rice, but it wasn’t that good. Jackie was kind of in a bad mood, practically yelling at us to put in the movie after Nate’s roommates were done playing marble madness or whatever on the wii. Well Julie and I managed to stay up through have of the movie and then conked out, and Julie snored pretty loud according to Nate who came up and checked both of us to see who was snorring. Jackie dropped Julie and I back at her place and we went to sleep watching blind date.
This morning we called Nate and we went to Kennedy together. We sat with Jeff and Alex and his girlfriend, who is japanese. She seems like a nice person but her english is lacking, definitely a pretty big language barrier there. We talked about how I liked stocks, how Nate and Alex’s friendship was like in high school which pretty much didn’t exist, super powers, alex’s gf being laser eyes even though she wanted to change it later, jeff throwing body parts at people, and again about what happened with Nate and him thinking it rude when two foreigners speak their native language in front of him when he is sitting with them and Alex agreed. We walked through the reniassance fair once and Nate Julie and I decided to get tickets to the free Ludacris concert so Alex and his GF split. It started pouring rain and we took the bus the long way to get to the stadium since the driver didn’t stop. Well all said and done we got our two free Ludacris tickets, I made Julie get two tickets too, she asked just for one but I told her to get two and she did (She didn’t know they were free).
Julie and I went to her place she took a shower we went back to my place and played Starcraft against the computer and won really quick so we battled the rest at each other even with Sean standing in the background and watching and trying to give advice to deaf ears. We’re now sitting in the dining hall area with Julie doing her tracing for her homework and wondering what we are going to do tonight, maybe see Spiderman 3.
I think I did really good on my physics multiple choice questions but really bad on the show your work, so we’ll see how that turns out I tried to not make every answer blank and just tried to write at least something there in hopes I would get at least 1 point or something. I got a 90 on my stats exam.
Today is Cinco de Mayo too. I think that makes it a full two years since my ex-girlfriend and I went to Prom and then that lame party or something like that? It just really goes to show what difference a year can make.
Oh at the breakfest today Alex got my phone number. It’s nice making new friends, but not so nice when it’s near the end of the year and also the end of the graduation cycle. Pretty soon alot of my friends are going to be graduating without me and I’ll be left here by myself… Well what can I do about that?
