A new winter quarter
I had decided over Winter break to change my major from radiology back to something a little more related to all the classes I took before, and that is International Studies. I kind of new all along that I couldn’t survive another 2 or 3 or so years in school and so the change is very welcomed. I was surprised to find that there were many jobs available for study abroad advisors and that was definitely a influencing factor which led me to change my major. So that all means I can graduate this year, and I’m very happy about that.
Julie is on internship in D.C., I miss her. It should only be for about six months though, so that is good.
My classes this quarter all seem so much more interesting and easier than the classes I was taking before for radiology, like anatomy, yuck. It turned out that I got a C- in anatomy, and a D in physics 112. That means I would have taken those classes over again. That would mean I would have to re-take the hardest and most boring and uninteresting classes I’ve ever taken in school again. Fuck that.
I’m really happy that I passed physics. Without the help of Yahoo answers, I probably wouldn’t have passed 111 and DEFINITELY not passed 112. It’s amazing that I could go to lab for both of those classes and not have a single clue what was going on and still pass. I was really lucky to get smart lab partners, who I just copied from the entire way through. When I realized the quiz questions for 112 had nothing to do with the homework, I kinda panicked. I tried studying for them but it didn’t work. So what happened was, was that I just showed up to recitation to take the quizzes and leave, and I just guessed the answers without having notes or anything. The whole final I guessed. It really helped that he had joke questions on there like “what cartoon character did i talk about the most in class”, which I guessed Spongebob, and “what analogy did I make for creating electrictiy” and I put hamsters running in wheels. I was the first one to turn in the final, it didn’t even look like anybody else was even close to finishing. When I turned it in I had a very sad look on my face and I said thanks to my RA.
This past Monday night was the LSU OSU game. Sean and I went to go see Aliens Vs Predator 2, which wasn’t bad, and then we went back home and started drinking and playing a little bit of Rock Band with Andrew. Matt came and we all went to Oldfield’s, which was a pretty lame event, and we stayed there until half time and then we decided not to go to Ulgy Tuna’s but instead just hangout at Monica’s place and play beer pong. That turned out to be alot of fun and when I played survivor flip cup I got pretty drunk, but won. We then went to Taco Bell, I went to Taco Bell twice that day.
My alarm didn’t go off this morning and I ended up missing my History of Art class. Not only that, but I had to go straight to History when I woke up which really sucked. I went and bought my books at barnes and noble and started reading the hist of art book and fell asleep because it was pretty damn boring.
I’m experimenting with arbitrage but I just haven’t found the right formula yet. I feel like a very bad person, and I don’t feel good because of it. I think I’m kind of down because I thought I was going to make a 100 a day, but it turned out the clicks were only worth 6 cents and then I was pretty much getting less than what I paid for, which really sucked, but I still can find a way to make it profitable I think if I try a few different things.
Peace.
