23 days until i go to japan, crazy. These last remaining two weeks are gonna fly by before i know it. Reality is slowly slowly but still not enough but nonetheless is creeping in. Reality like, fuck i have to lug two huge bags of my belongings all throughout japan by myself and get on a bus to go to tsukuba, hmm not so sure if this is gonna go so smoothly. Also, i have to learn the yen system and keep that in mind, and i definitely need to practice listening and reading and pretty much everything actually but i haven’t really plunged into the reviewing yet since there is so much it’s hard to find a place to start.
friday my roommate left, and now i’m gonna lonely, just a bit, because the japanese teachers on the floor left too, so there is pretty much no one here. I didn’t get to say goodbye to any of them which is too bad i think especially the girl that lived across from my door she was a really nice girl. maybe i’ll see her in japan? maybe not.
I’ve been having lots of fun though here in the meantime. Every last weekend has been pretty much a party at jackie’s apartment and we make food like curry rice and nabe stuff and sit around and drink a beer or two and watch scarry japanese movies, it’s really cool. Because jackie was out of town this weekend and last weekend this weekend sakiko and i went to smith san’s apartment and watched a j horror movie a really good one too called “infection”. Smith’s apartment is really nice.
Thursday smith and i went to his apartment before the teacher going away thing at hag. hall and drank a little over half a bottle of 151. It was great, we were playing halo online and taking shots after each round it was so fun. i think any combination of drinking and smoking and halo is a awesome mix. One round we played, we were so trashed, that we realized afterwards that we hadn’t killed a single person. Smith didn’t shoot a single bullet even! we were just running around and we didn’t even realize it, damn that’s a fun time when that happens.
after that we went to the party, i was trashed and everyone pretty much knew it. nakada laughed at me alot because of it, alot of fun. there were japanese girls there we’d never seen before, and since my name was written in katakana she asked who did it for me. crazy. And, i finally finally got to use that ‘onegai!, onegai!’ beg thing from that one tada pv the one with the snowman i think she liked it alot.
well we went to the japanese restaurant and i just past out and fell asleep. they said they had to move the table for me to get up and that when i went the bathroom there i took off my sandals before i went in but i don’t remember any of that at all. yeah.
